Group Interview Information

by Martin Rutherford, D.C.

First off I would like to thank you for applying for a position at Power Health.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you and finding a great new person to join our family.

Interview information:

The group interview will be held at our office at 1175 Harvard Way in Reno.  Please show up 10-15 minutes early to fill out an application.  If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at the address below, however please do not call the office as I do not want to overload the front desk with calls.

I will update this page with any common questions I receive.

Thank you,

Common Questions:

Q:  Are there any prerequisites for the job? (College degree, experience, etc)
A: No.  We are able to train you on site to be able to do everything you will need to do.  You will also be working toward getting your Chiropractic Assistant license through the state of NV.

Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: No.  We are looking for the best fit for our office and for our patients.  We look at our group here at Power Health as family and strive to find the right person to join our group.

While age has no real bearing we do need you to be able to be on your feet most of the day and also be level headed and mature enough to work with sick patients who may not always be the most pleasant to work with due to their condition and amount of pain they are in.

Q: I am attending school in the fall, have to be home by 5:30, can’t work on Saturdays (or other time related issue) would I still be a candidate for the position?
A: Unfortunately no.  We treat patients from 8am-12pm and 2pm-6pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,  2pm-6pm Tuesday and Thursday and 9am-1pm every other Sat.

If you would not be able to be here during those times on an ongoing basis then this position would not be a good fit for you.
